well the band shocker came to play at the barfly and i wanted to see them ! so i tolked to a guy at the barfly like a few weeks befour the gig i asked him about tickets and he sayed you cant get cause your not 18 so i wait out side the barfly for 4 or 5 hours for the band to come but they were caught in trafic so they showed up a hour befour the gig and then they did i first talked to there bassist askin here where jennifer was and she was so so nice she tols me that jennifer was just comin and then i meet JENNIFER FINCH (jennifer is my idol lolol) so anyway jennifer usto play in the band L7 (my fave band) and i had a rare L7 vinvl (you can see in the picture) i got jennifer to sign it and then she was like woow you did all this just to meet me and in the best american voice ever she sayed (lets get this girl some t_shirts) and she tolk me into the barfly and we looked thro the t_shirts and she was like oh there all to big send me your size and ill send you some ! =D she was so so nice she gave me cds,stickers,post cards and is sending me t_shirts she sayed anyway lol but anyway she tolk us into the barfly and introduced us to everyone and everyone was rushing casue they were l8t but she just sayed i wanna hang out with you and she asked me to help her set up stuff but my friend (jed) who was with me his dad just came to pick us up cause it was getin l8t then i got a picture with her on my friends phone (he hasnt sent me it yet) but anyway she was the nicest person ever she was so so small i was taller than her if she tolk her big big boots off hehe and she crazy red hair it was so cool she was one of the coolist people iv ever meet onestly ! =) after that day iv been emailin jennifer and shes been emailing me but the next time she comes ill get in the gig hehe =D it was the best day ever ! every time i look at my vinyl she signed i just remember how much fun i had meeting her and now my vinvl ass you can see i put in a big frame so nowone can tuch it hehe hehe !                                                    the end

The SHOCKER Based in the Los Angeles area, the Shocker is fronted by former L7 bassist Jennifer Precious Finch. The band made their debut at a party in December 2002 and the party has continued ever since. The band spent 2003 playing shows all over the the Western United States including the summer on the Warped Tour. They also recorded a mini, 7 song CD "Up Your Ass Tray" with producer DEAN MENTA (Guitarist of Faith NO More, DUH and currently with Sparks). When the band formed in December 2002, Finch enlisted good friends Arye Shine and Lura Jones (who did double duty in their own group, THE GOLDEN BATS) and Claudia Rossi (of HALO FRIENDLIES) to back her for the first year. All parties happily lended their hand to the Shocker with the plan that at years end they would go back to playing with their own groups. "I wanted to see/feel/hear if playing in a band could still be fun and I wanted to do it without ruining anyone's else's dreams!" If it all went wrong, Arye, Lura and Claudia had their own music visions to continue with. "It was fun, better then fun!" And when the year of "experimentation" was over, FInch wasted no time finding full time partners Leah Casper, Quist, and Davy Lin to complete the Shocker family for the long haul. 2004 has much in store including tours in the U.S. and Europe, and a new full length CD.
